Clairvoyance Teas

Concerning teas to assist psychic activity:
During the period when I was
guinea pig to find out how to elicit scrying abilities in a difficult
subject (and I must admit to being difficult), we tested quite a few
“psychic enhancing” teas on several folks. There was one that was
consistantly helpful, and moreover it helped both before and after.
Mugwort tea — which we found we had to actually boil, not steep, the
leaves for two minutes to get the best effect — seemed to cleanse the
channels somehow so that the clatter of normal life was healed and
enabled a greater sensitivity. Then after workings, when if you’re not
paying attention you’re left kind of limp, we found that mugwort tea
again cleansed things and restored the natural flow of the energies
thru the systems we had carelessly bruiesed. I’d rather drink an
infusion of boiled hay, but the stuff works. Some folks take a candy
cinnamon stick to make it drinkable, but I’m quite happy with the
effects of dropping in a little honey after I pull out the tea ball.

Clairvoyance Brew (Cunningham)
3 parts Rose petals
1 part Cinnamon
1 part Nutmeg
1 part Bay
1 part Mugwort
Place in teapot, fill with boiling water, let steep,
covered, for a few minutes. Remove cover, sniff steam (not so that you burn

as well, and let the steam continue to rise as you stretch your psychic
awareness.

Yes, as a matter of fact, and it works quite well too!
-SG- I Was using this tonic when I used to work the phone lines, (which can
sometimes be very stressful due to other’s rudeness, etc.)

1/2 oz. Lemongrass
1/2 oz. Spearmnt
2 Entire Oranges
1 Entire Lemon
3 cups Ginger Ale
2 cups White Grape Juice
Add herbs to 5 cups of water, bring to a slow boil

oranges and lemon, peel, seeds and pulp and add to herbal infusion.
When cool, add the grape juice. Strain the entire mixture thru double
cheesecloth(three times works for us!). Hand-squeeze the pulp/herbal
mixture to insure getting every last drop. Add the ginger ale and
chill for a few hours. *[No claims or guarantees are made by us regarding

Merry Meet, I found these in
“Magick Potions” by Gernia Dunwich, which is an excellent book all
about magickal potions, teas, philtres, infusions and oils. My copy is
quite dog-eared!

Potion to Increase Psychic Powers
On a night when the moon is full, drink a magickal tea brewed from any of the following herbs:
Borage
Ruled by the planet Jupiter
and the element of Air, this herb works especially well for male
Witches who desire an increase in their clairvoyant abilities.
Kava Kava
Ruled by the planet Saturn
and the element of Water, the root of this plant has been used in
Polynesian magickal practices for centuries. To make an infusion, place
the root in a small pot or cauldron. Pour one cup of boiled water over
the root. Cover with a lid and let steep until cools, then place it in
the refridgerator and keep it there overnight. A word of caution: Do
not drink kava kava infusions in large amounts or for extended period
of time because kidney damage may result!
Mugwort
Ruled but the planet Venus and the element of Earth, this
is a popular herb of magick among Witches. It has been associated with
psychic workings since olden times and possesses a strong feminine
vibration, making it especially powerful for women. Mugwort infusions,
sweetened with a bit of honey, are traditionally drunk prior to scrying
rituals and other forms of divination and psychic work. Many Witches even
use them for washing their crystal balls, magick mirrors and other tools of
scrying.
Yarrow
Ruled by the planet Venus and the element of Water,
infusion made from the flowers of this highly magickal plant should be
drunk by the light of a purple colored candle if you seek to awaken or
strengthen your clairvoyant powers.
Broom
Ruled by the planet Mars and the element of Air, infusions
of this plant were drunk once by those seeking to heighten their powers of
extrasensory perception. Also known as “besom” (an old Scottish name for a
Witch’s broom), this plant is regarded as being mildly toxic. Therefore,
internal use of it in any way is definitely not recommended.
Dandelion
Ruled by the planet Jupiter and the element of Air, the
root of the dandelion is said to promote psychic powers when it is dried,
roasted and ground (in the same manner as coffee) and then made into a
tealike brew and drunk beneath the rays of the full moon.

A Witch’s Brew for Clairvoyance
Into a cauldron of boiling
water, add a handful each of shredded laurel leaves, cinquefoil, and
mugwort (three herbs that have long been associated with the arts of
divination and prophecy.) Cover with a lid, and boil for 13 minutes.
Liftr the lid of the cauldron and deeply inhale the vapors of the
bubbling brew three times. Repeat this for three minutes, and if you
have allowed yourself to properly enter a psychic state, you may begin
to recieve prophetic visions, either in the form of pictures or
symbols, or perhaps in a combination of the two. When used prior to
sleeping, this brew may help to induce dreams of a prophetic nature.
Write down your dreams upon waking and study them for hidden meanings
and messages. Reocurring dream symbols are highly significant.
